Arnold Schwarzenegger’s acting abilities are up there with Chuck Norris and other actors mostly known for action roles. That basically means they churn out basically the same character over and over in different plots. Norris has a few good movies where he really nails the part, most notably Code of Silence. But that’s thanks toContinue reading “‘Maggie’ Showcases Schwarzenegger’s Acting Chops In Zombie Drama”

Happy Pi Day!
Today is March 14 and while that date might not mean anything to some, it’s Pi Day to others. Yes, if you remember from your school, Pi is rounded out to 3.14 but Pi actually has an infinite set of numbers. While math is not my thing, I know a lot of people look forwardContinue reading “Happy Pi Day!”
“Blood Worm Moon” Rising
For the night owls out there as well as people who are fascinated by the night sky and astrology, The “Blood Worm Moon” will be visible in the sky overnight beginning about 2:26 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, March 14. However, if you live on the West Coast, you hopefully will be able toContinue reading ““Blood Worm Moon” Rising”
Who Cares For The Caregivers?
One of the biggest myths of our society is that we believe we’ll always have someone there to take care of us when we become frail, ill or invalid. Yet, that’s not always the case. Gods And Monsters/Vault 5421 A Great Tourist Stop In Orlando
On my recent trip to Orlando, I checked out a comic book store that wasn’t too far from my hotel. A friend had told me about it. We had planned on meeting there. Even though she was dealing with some health issues, I decided to go there myself. It looks great but the biggest surpriseContinue reading “Gods And Monsters/Vault 5421 A Great Tourist Stop In Orlando”

But if there’s one thing we seem in agreement on is the abundance of apathy we have toward people who voted for Donald Trump and seem toContinue reading “Living In The FAFO Generation”

‘Curious Case Of Natalia Grace’ Hopefully Gets A Happily Ever After
Hopefully, this is the last year we’ll hear of Natalia Grace and the years of emotional, physical and possible sexual abuse she has suffered by people who should’ve never been allowed within 10 miles of her. The documentary series The Curious Case of Natalia Grace may have concluded after three seasons with the recent installmentsContinue reading “‘Curious Case Of Natalia Grace’ Hopefully Gets A Happily Ever After”
The George Wallace Tunnel
Traveling along Interstate 10 West, I passed through the George Wallace Tunnel.
‘Elevation’ A Very, Very Heavy Burtation
I’m really getting sick and tired of movies like Elevation that really don’t offer anything except a handful of people wearing dark, dingy clothes in a bunch of poorly lit scenes as they go from Point A to Point B in a post-apocalyptic world. The lack of much of a cast is intentional on accountContinue reading “‘Elevation’ A Very, Very Heavy Burtation”
