I know it’s been a very historic week with the Democrats picking up some major wins. But let’s not overlook that Russell Brand was convicted of rape and sexual assault by a London jury.
For years there’s been controversy over the actor/comic. He’s spoken out against Christianity and organized religion which some speculate was a problem between him and his former wife, Katy Perry.
But in April 2024, he suddenly became baptized and a born-again Christisn. This often seems to happen with celebrities or major public officials whenever something major is about to drop. It’s funny because all the people upset over the elections pull that “Jesus is still King” idiom.
It’s very likely Brand, who is 51, will spend much of the rest of his life in prison. His entertainment career is definitely over.
