There are some things that seem so outrageous you’d only believe it if you witnessed it real time like the Balloon Boy Incident or the O.J. Simpson Ford Bronco convoy.
Six years ago today, the 2020 Presidential election was still undetermined as the final tally of votes was coming in. For some reason that makes no sense, Rudy Giuliani (who had been one of the most biggest supporters of Trump) spoke at a press conference in Philadelphia. But reporters probably did a double take as they arrived to the Four Seasons Total Landscaping business. Did Trump’s team intend for it to be at the Four Seasons Hotel?
It could’ve been a simple mistake. But Giuliani and others went along with it ignoring 1the business located at 7339 State Road in the city of “Brotherly Love” had a sex shop, Fantasy Island, nearby and there was a crematorium across the street. The incident became fodder for Internet trolls, comics and late-night TV. People mocked Trump’s campaign slogan of Make America Great Again to Make America Rake Again.
The tremendous slip-up followed the same day by news that Joe Biden has secured the necessary electoral votes seemed to a fitting demise of the first Trump presidency following four years of unorthodox and unconventional executive administration. Needless to say, many people were upset as America (like the rest of the world) had been affected by Covid-19.
It just showed that the Trump Administration shouldn’t ever return. But it did.
Now that the Blue Tsunami has resulted in more Democrats elected, hopefully it’s a reminder not to make the same mistake again.
