So you know who couldn’t resist pulling another bullshit lie out of his mouth. He said at the Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas if the Republicans keep the House of Representatives and Senate, every American will get a $5,000 dividend.
First off, it’s illegal. Second, it would add up to $1.3 trillion if not more to the debt. And it would have to be approved by Congress to even go forth. If I was a gambling man, I wouldn’t bet on it happening. There were no tarrif dividends and no DOGE checks. Gas/diesel is high with many states reporting record highs on diesel fuels.
Not one single thing the President has said has come to fruition. And there has no attempt to even try. Also Republicans have the majority in Congress. And they know they can’t keep relying on the President. Voters are growing tired.
But there are still people believing it. I said 10 years ago, people voted for him the first time because they thought they were going go to get paid. A lot of the people who continue to support him still have little knowledge of the way real government works.
They only believe what they want to believe. And if they believe they’re going to get money for their votes, then they probably don’t need to be voting.
Unfortunately, they will vote for the wrong reasons.
