Ten years have passed since the June 12, 2016 mass shooting at Pulse, a gay bar/dance club in Orlando.

Reports indicated 53 other patrons were injured by gunfire and an additional five suffered injuries caused by other factors. Considering that it occurred on a Saturday night during a special “Latin Night” celebration, it was very difficult for many to seek shelter as many were in attendance.
Pulse closed down following the massacre which was the right thing to do as keeping it open would be disrespectful. Yet, it’s a shame one person felt other people were important.
