I don’t remember where the phrase “I didn’t think the leopard would eat my face” and variants came from. A quick Google search said it was something that became famous on Twitter back during the Fall of 2015 when a Donald Trump presidency seemed about as likely as a Pauly Shore and Steven Seagal winning Oscars.
But there’s another phrase that goes, “Once is happenstance; twice is coincidence; three times is enemy action.”
The other day, a caller to C-SPAN Washington Journal he voted for Trump in the past three President General Elections but now feels they’ve been brainwashed and people close to him think Trump is on par with Jesus Christ and was sent by God.
The caller is identified as “Thomas From Hawaii” which I would bet were both incorrect. He said he didn’t trust Trump on some matters and knew he had shady business dealings.
“Thomas” tiptoes around the obvious. He can’t vote Democrat and he won’t vote for a woman nor a woman of color. So he thought things would ge different just not in the way it has been.
Gas prices are high because of what’s happened in Iran with the Strait of Hormuz. This means all other prices are high. At the same time, Southern states are gerrymandering districts while data centers everywhere are going forward despite oberwhelmingly opposition. The Trump Administration is destroying public buildings and landmarks because he can. And the taxpayers are being told they’re going to foot the bill on the proposed ballroom and an proposed arch near Arlington National Cemetery. At the same time a deal with Department of Justice was reached with Trump and his business holdings for no IRS tax audit of past years.
Also taxpayers will pay into a slush fund of $1.776 billion for people, mostly Jan. 6 rioters he pardoned, to be compensated. In theory that is. My guess those closest to Trump and himself will just pocket the money.
I don’t have all the details because I’m too disgusted at this time to examine it further but people voted for this. It’s enemy action and one thing they must realize is enemy action isn’t fair and just.
They wanted other people to hurt and now they’re hurting.
