The Red Fern Festival continues on Saturday, April 29 with a car show beginning at 8 a.m. at the Wal-Mark Supercenter near the intersection of the Okla. Hwy. 51 bypass and South Muskogee Ave.
Then, festivies in the downtown district begin at 10 a.m. and run throughout the day. The annual festival is named after the book Where the Red Fern Grows, which was set in the Oklahoma Ozarks, and written by Oklahoma writer Wilson Rawls.
