For a brief time over Easter weekend, it seemed like we may have had some hope on the horizon as the White House was obviously lying about the President’s health.
But following his outrageous rants on Easter Sunday, he followed with a batshit crazy threat on his Truth Social account saying the entire Iranian/Persian civilization will be wiped out. Several physicians have said he’s suffering from dementia. His comments almost seem to constitute war crimes.
Of course, he backtracked as always or chickened out. My guess is his staff and high ranking Republicans spent all day playing damage control. Regardless, the more and more the Republicans allow this to continue the worst and worst it will get. Part of me think Trump is trying to get Congress to declare war so he can wash his hands of it when people claim it’s his fault the same way he riled his base for the Jan. 6 insurrection coup attempt.
And while his supporters keep insisting he’ll serve another term come Hell or high water, it’s very unlikely he’ll be able to be medically competent by Jan. 20, 2029 nor will he still have the same fanbase.
But pushing for war against a country when a lot of people don’t want it nor the consequences will hopefully be his final downfall.
