This is some property east of where I live about five miles give or take. I’ve past by this property numerous times over the years and and it was just another country home.
Yet the last few months, all this has sprung up. There’s razor barb wire along the fence where there’s black walls and warning signs. Even worse, if you look closer at the house windows, they’re mostly blacked out.
I’m not sure if they have new owners or if the actual homeowner has gone nuts, but it just goes to show you everything what’s wrong with conservatives. They’re putting up the walls and telling us to leave them along.
I’m almost sure the homeowners are MAGA but here’s the thing. Republicans have the White House, both Houses of Congress and the Supreme Court. Also, many conservative federal judges are at the lower level. And there are more Republican state governors. Republicans have the majority at almost every level yet they continue to act like they have no control and are the ones who are being persecuted.
What’s funny is I remember a time when even conservatives would’ve laughed at people like this. And I’m sure privately they still do while publicly praising the owners.
But the bottom line is these people are nuts. And worse, they are dangerous. We’re just hearing about Lucy Harrison was fatally shot by her father, Kris, down in Texas a whole year ago. Apparently, they were having a disagreement over the President and gun ownership. No charges have been filed against the father but it’s a sign of how they view women.
The thing is most of these gun-toting Get-off-my-Lawn MAGA people won’t play favorites. There’s a reason Republicans like Josh Hawley and Markwayne Mullin were scared shitless on Jan. 6, 2021. They know these people don’t know anyone from Adam and they were out for blood. They would’ve taken down anyone they could get their hands on.
I have nothing against people who want to protect their homes. But most of us don’t really have to worry because we know no one is going to be breaking down our doors, especially when we’re home. This isn’t The Purge or The Strangers.
To be honest, I think the no children without adult supervision sign is redundant. I seriously doubt anyone would let heir child on this property escort or not.
