If you ever see Ted Cruz at an airport ahead of a winter storm that is forecast, just be warned the shit is going to hit the fan.
Recently, the Republican Senator from Texas, former Presidential candidate and possible Zodiac Killer was spotted on a plane heading toward California. This comes as a winter storm is forecast to hit most of Texas with freezing temperatures and ice and snow accumulations are projected. It looks like history all over again as in 2021, he reportedly left for a more tropical location when a winter storm hit. But then he returned after oublic criticism.
His people say he’s taking care of some business right now but should return to the Lone Star state by the weekend when most of the storm is expected to hit the state. But it just goes to show how some elected officials feel like they don’t have to play by the rules. During the July 4 holiday weekend, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie took his whole family to the beach after the government shutdown prevented others from enjoying it. Even the helicopter pictures taken show no one had any shame about what they were doing. Christie sat with his hands clasped together giving a “Yes, may I help you?” look to the camera.
Then, there was the time Joe Manchin, former Democratic Senator from West Virgnia was taped talking to protestors in kayakes from the stern of his yacht Almost Heaven. While people defending it saying, Manchin keeps it docked as a place to stay when he had to work in Washington, D.C. Still it shows there is a wealth inequality and feeing that some elected officials are out of touch.
I know someone back in the late 1990s who was going to college in the metro Atlanta area when a young man who was the son of Georgia Gov. Roy Barnes tried to hit on her by offering her a ride in the helicopter.
