Like a lot of people, I was shocked and saddened to see the death and destruction from a high-rise apartment building in Hong Kong. As of this posting there are a reported 128 people confirmed to have died from the fire. And others are still missing.
I know it may seem like a long place away from all of us, but we’re all humans and we’re on all this planet together. Reportedly the fire alarms weren’t working, which only angers me more. My stepfather is a firefighter and I have friends/family who are first responders. Check your fire alarms regularly.
And as the winter weather approaches, keep thing away from space heaters and don’t plug into power strips.
