Cliffs At Fort Gibson Lake

These are the cliffs on the eastern border of Cherokee County near where I live. Fort Gibson Lake separates Cherokee from Wagoner County. At this time of years as the leaves change, it’s a wonderful site to see while on the way home.

I'm an award winning journalist and photographer who covered dozens of homicides and even interviewed President Jimmy Carter on multiple occasions. A back injury in 2011 and other family medical emergencies sidelined my journalism career. But now, I'm doing my own thing, focusing on movies (one of my favorite topics), current events and politics (another favorite topic) and just anything I feel needs to be posted. Thank you for reading.

  1. An Okie from Muskogee, eh? I was there looking for a refrigerator magnet with that on it but couldn’t find one. I guess the Haggard camp had that trademark locked up. Did get a Five Civilized Tribes magnet, however.
