I didn’t post on Friday, Oct. 17 because I had lost one of my furbabies. Pepper, a tuxedo, had shown up at my house about two years ago. She was friendly and sweet.
But I still had BeeBee and Skitty inside and I didn’t want to add another inside cat as my health was getting harder to take care of many cats inside. However, cats are usually easier to have than dogs as it’s been my experience.
Still, I was hoping Pepper would be an inside cat but some animals are just born to live in nature. It’s why I’ve never thought of getting a bird as a pet.
I buried Pepper out in the yard with the rest of the furbabies. But the ground was too rocky and I had to pick another spot. I usually put potting soil mix over the bodies before adding the dirt.
I’ve had many cats come and go and Pepper would also spend time next door at my neighbor’s who is going through chemo treatment for cancer. So, if you could keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. They have an inside cat as well because everyone needs a baby when they’re going through a rough time.
This has also been the first time in about three and a half years I haven’t made a daily post. But I did it to help me as I got over my girlfriend’s death. You’re never really over a death, it just hits a little lighter and lighter as the days go on.
I’m going to continue to post but I might take a few breaks here and there. Thanks again for reading and subscribing.
