Happy National Coming Out Day!

I want to wish everyone out there a Happy National Coming Out Day!

I know things have been hard on many these last few years as the Religious Right and conservatives are using it for a political maneuver. People in the LGBTQIA community aren’t the problem. It’s the intolerant people who can’t stand people who are different from them.

This is why I have turned my back on all organized religion. It’s supposed to be use to inspire us to love each other. But love doesn’t have restrictions.

And why should it matter that someone you see in a restaurant or a supermarket is in a same-sex relationship? What’s so funny is how all those who claim to be against it are secretly hiding their true selves. Their self-hatred is forcing others to stay in the closet.

I dream of a world in which it shouldn’t really matter anymore. With someone being arrested almost every day for child sexual abuse, we should focus our attention more on that rather than going after drag queens and same-sex couples.
