While some people might not think of Oklahoma has a place that is LGBTQIA friendly but Tahlequah, the capital of the Cherokee Nation and the main campus of Northeastern State University, is.
On June 14, The Squeeze Inn was the site of the monthly drag show of The Turrelle Sisters. Josie Lee Turrelle and Sasha Turrelle, drag queens, put on a show for the people in attendance. Also performing was Angela Doll and Dolly Van Teese.
The Turrelle Sisters will return to The Squeeze Inn on July 12.
