The greatest myth of the American ideology is that even though “All men are created equal,” no one is willing to share their toys with other people. We’ve always wanted inequality. Yes, people, well…men, might be created equal in theory, but after we’re born we’re on our own.
Currently the National Guard was at a protest in the Los Angeles area as people were opposed to ICE detaining people without warrants or even probable cause. People want this – the detaining and tear gas being fired on protestors I mean.
They don’t want to protest, unless it’s something stupid like being forced to wear a mask in a private business or that their candidate for President didn’t win an election. People in America would be satisfied with a dictator and we’ve basically have had them to a degree since George Washington took the first Oath of Office. The minute we start making one person more important than another person we’re pretty much saying we’ve created the same caste system for which we criticize other countries.
We want to see military force used excessively on American soil because we need to keep people in order. I’ve always laughed at the concept that law enforcement only exists because we allow it to. Do you actually think even in small rural towns the police department has more firearms than a 10th of the population? Most only have a dozen or so on the force compared to less than 10,000 in population.
And most people are allowed to own firearms, thanks to legislators bowing to the firearm manufacturers. I know many who owns a lot. I have two rifle, two shotguns and three handguns. I’m not suggesting people immediately revolt because most of them don’t. They have no reason to. They understand that people in a community just want to get along with each other.
On my trip back from Georgia in March, I had my Ford Escape loaded down with personal items. I stayed in Orlando for a few days and went to Tampa Bay area. I drove over a thousand miles back. I stopped at many places. Not once did I worry about something breaking into my car. And if they did, I couldn’t do anything about it.
One thing I learned in college is that the people you’d never suspect are the ones who feel they can just take stuff. I heard stories of people stealing clothes out of the dryers in the dorm. People would take stuff out of people’s cupboards in dorm rooms and apartments of people they didn’t even know.. One of my residential advisors said he had ordered a pizza and some people just walked up to him and snatch the box out of his hands his first year in college.
It wasn’t all the young people there, but you learn fast and it’s usually the people who are the ones who dress the nicest and drive the nicest cars. Just like in real life, the true thieves are the clean-shaven well-dressed people who have more money because they’ve cheated others out of it.
There’s wealthy people taking seven slices of the pizza that you thought you had paid for. Then they’re telling you someone else is trying to take your slice. The question is if you believe them or not. Some do and others don’t. It’s easier to convince someone that a person who doesn’t have as much as you is trying to steal from you.
And in a rare event, I’m actually agreeing with the Los Angeles Police Department in regards to how the protests against ICE aren’t violent like the people on the right want you to think. Where was the National Guard on January 6, 2021?
People want this. They want to see police and military in the street detaining, attacking and arresting people as long as they’re not certain people – white people. I’m still waiting for the day the cops go overboard on some black conservatives who will be singing a different tune. I know it will happen.
You give people a license to steal, they’re going to steal. Not all of them. But they’ll be some who take great pride in hurting others just because they can. There’s already footage making the rounds of an Australian reporter Lauren Tomasi being shot by a rubber bullet in the leg while she is reporting in L.A. She is nowhere near anything bad. The officer just looks at her, aims and fires. He knew what he was doing.
There’s no way to sugarcoat it. They’ll start shooting the media. They’ll start attacking anyone they want. I have zero sympathy for the Latinos being deported who supported this administration. They picked the rattlesnake up out of the snow. It bit them. They knew what was going to happen.
They just thought it wouldn’t happen to them. And that’s why people allow it. They want it as long as it’s them.
And then when it is, they go crying about how they didn’t vote for this.
Yes. Yes they did.
And I have no sympathy for them,
