It seems more and more each day our elected officials are discriminating against the LGBTQIA community only to get more votes and donation dollars.
At the same time, people are being discriminated with. A family friend was recently attacked for no reason. They say they were just walking on the sidewalk and someone was mad because they were taking up too much room. Yet, the attacker also used a derogatory term when he punched them.
We need to do better. We can do better.
