Turrelle Sisters Perform At Squeeze Inn

While the current Trump Administration seems to have an issue with the LGBTQIA community, the Tahlequah community was saying, “Fuck you, bitch!”

The Turrelle Sisters (Josie Lee, Porcelynn, Sasha, Maxine) along with Robyn Davenport-Fier (pictured above) performed at The Squeeze Inn bar in Tahlequah. Many people said the establishment was very busy and the most in attendance they had seen. People of all ages were in attendance having fun with the performers who they happily cheered on.

Door prizes were donated by Patricia’s of Tulsa.

The Turrelle Sisters will return to Tahlequah on Feb. 8 for the We Survived Y2K 25th anniversary at Dewain’s Place, located at 303 S. Water Ave. There is a $5 cover charge and you must be 21 to enter.

Food will be at 8 p.m. with the show to begin at 9 p.m.

I'm an award winning journalist and photographer who covered dozens of homicides and even interviewed President Jimmy Carter on multiple occasions. A back injury in 2011 and other family medical emergencies sidelined my journalism career. But now, I'm doing my own thing, focusing on movies (one of my favorite topics), current events and politics (another favorite topic) and just anything I feel needs to be posted. Thank you for reading.
