Sweet Home Alabama

I took this photo of view of the Appalachian Mountains at the Alabama Welcome Center off if Interstate 22 West. It’s a shame that people of Alabama have ruined the state with stereotypes and prejudiced ideas.

When I walked in there was a wood fire going and the attendant working was very nice. I wish I could’ve stayed a bit. But I had to get back on the road.

There’s a lot of good places and good people. Don’t let the bad people ruin them.

I'm an award winning journalist and photographer who covered dozens of homicides and even interviewed President Jimmy Carter on multiple occasions. A back injury in 2011 and other family medical emergencies sidelined my journalism career. But now, I'm doing my own thing, focusing on movies (one of my favorite topics), current events and politics (another favorite topic) and just anything I feel needs to be posted. Thank you for reading.
