Four years ago, I watched an insurrection attempt. It wasn’t a non-violent protest. It wasn’t an anti-fa movement. It was a violent attempt by people to kidnapped and kill members of Congress to prevent them from doing their jobs.
No one shows up to a non-violent protest with zip ties. Hopefully, Trump reneges on his comments to pardon the rioters from Jan. 6, 2021. I, mean, does anyone think Orange Cheeto Fearless Leader cares about people from Bumblefuck Egypt who have little to nothing to offer Trumpty-Dumpty?
You’re not hearing about it in the last 24 hours. There was no insurrection attempt by Democrats who felt something wasn’t right about the 2024 election. I was unable to attend the Carter Center while in Atlanta where former President Jimmy Carter, lies in repose for people to pay their respects.
I wanted to go so bad. I was sick on Sunday. Otherwise, I might have stopped by, even for a few minutes. They said Carter spent the last few days of his term working on how to fear the American hostage in Iran. They said he didn’t sleep for 51 hours.
I don’t think Trump would’ve cared about any hostages. I also think that sumbitch Reagan committed treason by negotiating a way to release them so he could be elected.
But in less than two weeks, Trump will be President again. And despite the power change, there was no violence or hostility. She may not be President of America, but in her last two weeks as President of the Senate, Kamala Harris swore in new senators. Deb Fischer, a Republican Senator from Nebraska was sworn in. But her husband, Bruce, refused to look at at Harris nor shake their hand.
Imagine if a Democrat’s spouse did this?
It just goes to show you the racism and misogyny that exists in America. It must’ve been Bruce’s first time outside without a hood on his head so he didn’t know how to act. But watch the Republicans spend this.
They want to bend the knee and kiss the ring.
But no one lives forever. I joked that with his diet and anger issues, Trump may not even live to be inaugurated or surpass William Henry Harrison as the President with the shortest term. I don’t wish anyone any ill-will.
Yet, it would be a great joke to pull on all those that think Trump is the answer and now they’re stuck with J.D. Vance. Imagine getting Broadway tickets for four straight years and each performance is the understudy.
