I know it’s the Christmas season and money may be tight. But if you could, please help out a family that has been hit with some hard news.

On Oct. 18, a malignant brain tumor was found in Kreek Blu Smith, 2, of of northeastern Oklahoma. Radiation treatment began on Dec. 3 and is expected to last at least six weeks. The community is asking for your help.

A chicken and dumpling dinner at $10 a plate is planned 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12 at the Tahlequah Community Building, located at 908 S. College Ave., Tahlequah, OK. If you can’t make it but know someone who can, please let them know.
