If you believe God turned a blind eye to the massacre of young children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. or Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, but initially saved Donald Trump from an assassination, then you have a God who doesn’t love, but hates and wants people to suffer more. And now we have to endure four more years of this fucking asshole.
I’ve been thinking all this day about this post and I can’t come to any other conclusion but to say that there really is no God. Human beings created God to make themselves feel better about dying. So, they made up this idea of an afterlife. Then, when they wanted to get people in control more, they made up the idea of Hell. This is where God will send you if you do things this deity doesn’t like.
But at the same time, Christians are celebrating Trump’s election despite the fact that he was convicted in New York state. (By now, it looks like those charges won’t stick and he will be set free.) They are celebrating the fact that someone who broke the law and did illegal activities in Georgia, Florida and Washington D.C. Why? Because they have been brain-washed to believe that only Republicans are the good people.
If this election had a different outcome, do you think people would have been so cordial about it? Republicans are showing how ugly they can be. Republican blogger Nick Fuentes demeaned all women in a post, basically calling them all property. How in anyone’s rational mind actually think this behavior is acceptable? How can anyone think Trump’s behavior is acceptable? This is the type of person you used to see on street corners talking to themselves. If this guy was your uncle, you’d find a reason to leave the family reunion early.
Christians must now align themselves with the fact they support misogyny, sexism, ageism and racism. I know why they vote the way they do – they never think anything will happen to them. It was like what happened five years ago in Florida when Crystal Minton, of Florida, was recorded on a news audio saying she voted for Trump. She added: “I thought he was going to do good things. He’s not hurting the people he needs to be hurting.”
Christians have always loved hurting people. They love their guns and believe children should be hit as a form of discipline. They don’t love the people they’re hurting. They view children as property and more of an extension of themselves rather than real people. It might explain why many people I know have gone no contact with their family.
But even more importantly, they love being right all the time. And they view Trump’s election as vindication for how he lost in 2020. He may have won the popular vote this year, but he didn’t in 2016 and he didn’t in 2020. Yet, he and his followers will argue the 2020 results are a sign that Democrats cheated. Republicans like Christians always believe they are the victims. That’s why they make strange bedfellows. They have a “I’m always right; you’re always wrong” mentality.
Yet, when you give them a taste of their own medicine, they act like you’re being an awful person. The sheer hatred toward Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris this year by other women is pure vitriol. Women really hate each other and don’t like seeing others get ahead. It’s because they’re taught from birth to be competitors. Watch the Jerry Springer show and you’ll see women fighting each other over a two-timing man. Even Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” has been misinterpreted. It’s not Jolene who’s stealing her man, but some scumbag who is cheating on her with Jolene.
Yet, it’s typical of women to instill hatred and ugliness toward each other. They’re no different than the black enslaved man who was repeatedly whipping Kunta Kinte in Roots because he wouldn’t call himself “Toby.” And now as it looks there will be a national ban on abortions, states’ rights won’t matter much anymore. So, I hope it was worth making your voice heard. Because now all they want to hear is “Yes, dear.”
Whether or not Trump actually does what he says he will do is the big question. Americans are so vastly diverse and dispersed throughout 3.1 million square miles in the continental United States alone. I seriously doubt so many people will sit idly by as their friends, family and neighbors are openly oppressed. They’re might be some deportations of undocumented immigrants. But once farmers, ranchers and factory workers realize they can’t get enough help, watch for them to come back.
I also think being between Canada and Mexico and having so many global ties to more other countries, the policies will have problems. Many politicians lie to get you to vote for them. The true ramifications of Project 2025 will throw America, if not the world, into a Global Recession. Even “that sumbitch Reagan” had to backtrack after firing all the air traffic controllers who went on strike and hire some of them back.
Firing people who are qualified and replacing them with unqualified people hurts many people. It doesn’t say much for a job creator to fire people from their job because they didn’t vote for you. They’ll try to do a lot of things but I don’t think much of it will stick. The problem with Americans is we’re a knee-jerk society. Something happens and we look for the quickest, simplest solution. And that’s to get rid of the current administration and install another one.
And when that one doesn’t work (which it won’t), we’ll install another. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Yet, I don’t think Trump will remain in office long this time. He’s 78 and shown signs of mental illness. It’s possible he was a ruse to get the Republicans to vote. They want J.D. Vance as their own puppet, because both seem like they’re the most easiest to control with just giving them the illusion they are in power.
There’s so much more I want to say but to be honest, I’m just too fucking tired right now. I’m tired of disappointments just when I get a little comfortable. It’s really starting to piss me off. If a nation can get angry over the fact that a man’s pet squirrel and raccoon was seized from him and both euthanized, then they can get angry about other things that are important.
Instead, I feel it was just hatred, racism and misogyny. Even Latino men said they wouldn’t vote for Harris. Racism isn’t just white people vs. people of color. People of color hate each other. And most of those Latinos are usually more religious. It’s ironic how Christians are willing to support a white man saying he’s flawed but expect a woman of color to be immaculate.
That’s because it’s all about control. There is no God. And there is no Heaven. And there is no Hell. Actually, there is. We live in it every day. Just ask the people who survived the Holocaust, the Rwanda genocide, the Khmer Rouge genocide and the other mass arrests and oppression all over the world.
If there is a God, why didn’t he stop all this? Just like Trump, he has done nothing to prove he is worthy of this job. In real life, if someone like Trump worked at a McDonald’s, the people supporting him would’ve reported him to the manager in a New York minute. As George Carlin once said of God and everything that has happened in the name of God, “Results like these do not belong on the résumé of a Supreme Being. This is the kind of shit you’d expect from an office temp with a bad attitude.”
I’ll end with this quote seen reportedly carved in a wall at a concentration camp after it was liberated at the end of World War II, “If there is a God, He will have to beg for my forgiveness.”
