Halloween Party At Hard Rock Tulsa

Hundreds, if not thousands, of people 21 and over turned out to the annual Halloween Party and Costume Contest at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa on Saturday, Oct. 26. The facility is owned and operated through the Cherokee Nation. The party kicked off at 7 p.m. and last until 2 a.m.

There was a Killer Klowns from Outer Space motif as the Sequoyah Ballroom was decorated with the deadly cotton candy cocoons and footage from the movie played on the screen as music blasted.

I couldn’t get a cloak in time as I was going to go as a wizard but I had to don my Ghostface Scream mask. It was a fun event and the costumes were amazing. People dressed up as Cheech and Chong, the Super Mario Brothers, Deadpool, Alien and Predator and one person in a wheelchair was the Cryptkeeper.

I'm an award winning journalist and photographer who covered dozens of homicides and even interviewed President Jimmy Carter on multiple occasions. A back injury in 2011 and other family medical emergencies sidelined my journalism career. But now, I'm doing my own thing, focusing on movies (one of my favorite topics), current events and politics (another favorite topic) and just anything I feel needs to be posted. Thank you for reading.
