Muskogee Scares Up Pride, Love And Equality For All

People of all ages donned their costumes for a Halloween spookatcular as Muskogee Equality had their annual pride event on Saturday, Oct. 26. The only masks people had to wear were for fun as many people from the Muskogee area were at the Martin Luther King Center.

There was a costume contest for the kids and music (and even some acrobatics) for everyone. Vendors were also there.

I'm an award winning journalist and photographer who covered dozens of homicides and even interviewed President Jimmy Carter on multiple occasions. A back injury in 2011 and other family medical emergencies sidelined my journalism career. But now, I'm doing my own thing, focusing on movies (one of my favorite topics), current events and politics (another favorite topic) and just anything I feel needs to be posted. Thank you for reading.
