It’s my birthday today. I’m 46. But I feel 64. I still think I can pass for 39. But the sweet woman at the supermarket I shop at reminded me of a 5 percent discount for seniors over 60 when I was there on Tuesday.
What’s that old song verse? “Back to life, back to reality.”
But that’s not what I really want to tell you. Today, Wheels of Happiness is having their annual fund-raising gala in Atlanta. I can’t make it as I’m sure many of you can’t either. But we can help out by donating.
I know times are hard for some and some of you may not have the means. But just donate a few dollars here or there could help. If you can’t donate, then you can share the website at http://www.wheelsofhappiness.org.
But this isn’t a one-and-done deal. If you can’t donate now, maybe you can donate next week or next month. They accept donations throughout the year. This is a charity that is important to me not just as a disabled person but because my late girlfriend was involved in it for years.
As always, I appreciate all the views and subscribing. I’ve been doing this for three years and counting. It’s helped me get through some difficult times, even though it seems some days, I haven’t posted much. It helps me.
And whenever I get feedback, I appreciate it very much.
Thank you again for reading, subscribing and any donations you can make.
Have a great day and an even better weekend!
