Hope All Is Well

Things have been crazy the last couple of weeks with the intense heat wave, July 4 holiday weekend and I had my own disability hearing on July 2. I also have a friend who is having some serious health issues at this time.

I’ve been working on posts every day but I was working on something for today and just couldn’t finish it in time. I’ve been reading Stephen King’s latest book You Like It Darker and hope to have a review up by the weekend. I appreciate the new people who have subscribed to this blog as well as those who continue to read and like my posts a regular basis. Thank you very much!

Also, please keep in mind the people of Texas and those in the path of Beryl. I understand it’s been downgraded to a tropical depression. There are reportedly three million people without power. And in the middle of summer, that’s not good. Please think of those who are also helping with the relief efforts.

Thanks again for reading and I hope you have a great week.

I'm an award winning journalist and photographer who covered dozens of homicides and even interviewed President Jimmy Carter on multiple occasions. A back injury in 2011 and other family medical emergencies sidelined my journalism career. But now, I'm doing my own thing, focusing on movies (one of my favorite topics), current events and politics (another favorite topic) and just anything I feel needs to be posted. Thank you for reading.
