I want to wish you all a Happy Pride Month. I know that we can say “love is love” all we want, but we need to start helping and standing up for those who of the LGBTQIA community. I have friends and family who are part of this community and they are still having to walk a thin line in 2024. They have to stay off social media or else face harassments and threats.
And most of these people doing the harassing are talking about God and Christ. That isn’t supposed to be what Christ is about. While we can joke that the people who are the most against the community are the ones who are in the closet, that’s usually not the case. Some people are just mean and hateful.
If seeing two men or two women out holding hands bothers you, I think you have more serious problems. I think most people like the “Lipstick Lesbians” in the porno movies, but they don’t care for it in real life. They act like they’re “stealing” women away. But maybe it’s because a couple is really in love and care about each other. That makes them jealous and angry because they don’t have that.
No one is saying you have to like it or agree with it. But just leave people alone and they will leave you alone too.
