For anyone who has following this blog knows that in the first part of 2022, I lost my girlfriend, Kerry, following an illness. We had known each other since we were kids. And we just discovered shortly before the Covid-19 Pandemic that we loved each other more than just friends. Unfortunately, a lot of things keep us apart.
When she passed, one person I could always turn to was a friend I made in the early days of Covid. I met Kat Bellatrix online and we got to talking. We both suffer from back problems. She had scoliosis as a child and had to have her spine fused. I suffer from osetoarthritis and also have suffered back injuries. We’re both writers. We both like DC over Marvel. She’s a Star Trek fan and I’m more of a Star Wars fan.
But her health has gotten worse as she needs to have open heart surgery very soon. She’s been putting this off for months but can’t wait much longer. That’s where I’m asking you to please help. Her recovery could take up to two months if not longer. She suffers from Marfan Syndrome which also causes heart problems. She’s only 31 and can make everyone’s day a little brighter. So, I’m hoping she can be here for many more bright days. She has a positive outlook and hopefully you can make it better.
